Scope and approach

Vanguard Architecture is an English-language editorial project about architecture and building performance. The guides explain concepts and identify sources; they do not document completed projects commissioned or built by this publication. Illustrations and worked calculations are identified as such.

Technical decisions for a real building depend on local conditions, applicable requirements and project-specific design. A discussion of a certification criterion does not mean this publication or an illustrated building holds that certification.
